Shunsuke Takawo, a Japanese generative artist, is known for his Daily Coding philosophy. He is an Associate Professor at Konan Women's University and Founder of the Japan Generative Art Foundation. In 2021, he joined blockchain art with Generativemasks and worked with ARTXCODE and Bright Moments.
"Dramatic Yesterday, OK Today" is a work related to my daily coding. It displays sketches from my recent past, juxtaposing code and visuals, and visualizes the transition and changes in my daily production in slide show format. The work is a device for sharing and observing the daily coding process and the resulting changes in visual and technical combinations.
With a background in traditional oil painting, Kenichi Yoneda (kynd) explores the boundaries between hand-crafted aesthetics, physical phenomena and materials, and computer algorithms.
This is a étude on the process of creating a painting, and a snapshot of one of numerous tools made for daily sketching.
